Priority Projects: Fast Tracked Developments

On Friday the 3rd April 2020, as a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Treasurer Dominic Perrottet and Minister for Planning and Public Spaces Rob Stokes jointly announced a “jobs boost through fast-tracked planning system”. The purpose of the Acceleration Program is to redirect resources within the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment to accelerate the assessment and determination of projects that inject investment into the NSW economy and keep Australians in jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This past Friday 22nd May 2020, the Premier of New South Wales, Gladys Berijiklian, and Minister Stokes announced 24 Priority Projects which will proceed in the Planning System Acceleration Program.
Deep River is proud to announce of the 24 published Priority Projects; Deep River successfully lobbied for two of the included projects included on the list, including one of the eleven rezoning applications, and one of three LEP Amendments.
